Where's the Line?
A simple question each of us needs to learn. As Ken Ivory (UT-HD47) has stated, “I don’t have all the answers but I have a really good question, where’s the line?” We just came from a presentation by Mr. Ivory and he is creating a ground swell of excitement here in Utah that will be [...]

Every president between Truman and Obama have told the people the POTUS (President of the United States) is where the buck stops when it comes to many situations such as natural disasters, man created disasters, economic challenges, environmental concerns, and more.

Getting the right gang numbers in D.C.
Many wonder how it is we can have political factions seemingly different while obtaining the same results no matter which party is in office. It is fairly clear if we look at the nuance comments presented by leadership from the supposed conservative side of the aisle. It is a business of who has the biggest gang numbers according to RNC leadership.
Federalism: A Key to Liberty
Most school kids learn that the “separation of powers” refers to a “horizontal” balance of power between the three branches of government. This horizontal separation of powers ensures that each branch of the national government checks the other branches.
What Nancy Pelosi thinks the 10th Amendment means
This should give everyone a very clear idea of what we are up against when it comes to educating people on the original meaning of the 10th Amendment. I had to read this ‘myth buster’ explanation from Pelosi’s website several times to really grasp the fact she either truly believes this or truly hopes we [...]

Paternalism in our federal government today
When our foundation was set in the United States there were expectations by the framers. Among those expectations was governing at the lowest level with each person holding responsibility for themselves. Following original meaning, the path toward securing freedom and daily rights for future generations (a goal written into the Constitution Preamble) led from the [...]
Obama takes states to new low in Race to the Top
Obama’s administration has created a new game for states to play and today the Sweet ’16′ finalists were named. Our country has sunk to [...]

Are you ready to restore state sovereignty?
It is a question all those supporting states’ rights initiatives need to ask themselves. Once answered affirmatively the struggle for educating others truly begins. It is easy to claim we support our sovereignty, to lend our voice to state resolutions, perhaps even support legislation with some teeth, yet how will we withstand the opponents who [...]
