Candidate support for the Downsize DC Agenda is growing

Jim Babka, President of DownsizeDC, and those citizens who are a part of the nearly 30,000 strong Downsize DC Army are gaining candidate support for the Downsize DC Agenda. The agenda is based on six of the 24 excellent campaigns thoughtfully developed and promoted by the organization.

In a recent edition of the organization’s newsletter Mr. Babka explains, “We aren’t surprised that incumbent office holders aren’t rushing to adopt the Downsize DC Agenda. They love their power, and each of our measures places a restriction on that power.”

Power, something our political class never wants to relinquish yet what is best of you and your family? Many are awakening to the realization our issues do not get solved from campaign to campaign, only used as campaign stump speech filler. This year there is a difference among many candidates who are focusing on a smaller, more constitutionally sound government as an answer to issues that have plagued this country for years.

Among the candidates currently supporting this make-sense agenda are Dr. Rand Paul of Kentucky, Dr. B.J. Lawson of North Carolina, and Dr. James Taylor of North Carolina. Each of these candidates are dedicated to upholding the Oath of Office and their pledge to sponsor the Downsize DC Agenda is further evidence of that dedication.
